When i try to write data to the new SSD i get a -50 error. This worked fine, after the format I put the new SSD back into the OptiBay and after starting up it recognized the disk as it is supposed to.
I plugged the new SSD into the main SSD connector to format it, because it wouldn't format when connected to the SuperDrive connector. Now I wanted to upgrade the HDD to a SSD because I don't need so much space, I prefer the SSD speed. In your last capture you can see your CPU is getting quite hot (~90✬) and your fan’s RPM is running hard ()5530 RPM, but the heatsink is not very hot at all! I can understand this could be accessing the SSD through the faulty cable. But when it’s idle, the CPU sits at 45-49 celsius. But however when I use cinebench or other cpu hungry process, the CPU hits 98-100 celsius with fans going beserk.
Now I find little improvement in cooling and very good improvement in performance due to the huge upgrade. Let me tell you my problem, I personally use the late 2011 13 inch mbp and have replaced hdd to ssd, 16 gigs of 1600 mhz ram and applied arctic mx4 freshly.
